Harris and 11 is an amalgamator. We collect and store links to the latest news and commentary about specific interest groups and provide links back to the original sources. By focusing on specific interest groups we can cherry-pick good news sources and blogs as opposed to search engines which have a tendency to show the same A.P. story reprinted by hundreds of different newspapers and fail to emphasize good bloggers.

For example, the Seattle Sounders FC page amalgamates the Seattle Times and Seattle PI, but gives equal billing to Sounder at Heart, GoSOUNDERS and the Seattle Soccer Examiner.

Some other gems around the league worth checking out are Down The Byline about the Kansas City Wizards, the Dynamo's Forever Orange and the bilingual Dentro Del Rebano for Chivas USA. The Toronto FC blogosphere has been very active.

Our bots are constantly scouring the net. We revisit pages based on how often they update. If someone we've identified is updating their blog daily, then we try to visit once a day. We try to visit the blogs and news articles updated by large groups (The Offside, ESPN) a lot more than smaller independents.
